From Workshop Floor to Yorkshire Champion EnKahnz apprentice Hadee Abbas has secured his second Yorkshire amateur boxing title — balancing life between the bodyshop and the ring with discipline, focus, and relentless work ethic. Training five to six days a week while developing his craft in the workshop, Hadee represents the next generation of Bradford Talent. With nationals ahead and ambitions set on the world stage, his journey is only just beginning.
Hadee Abbas Continues His Rise
Hadee Abbas, apprentice at EnKahnz, continues to build his reputation both inside the ring and on the Bodyshop floor — now securing his second Yorkshire title in amateur boxing.
Balancing life between the workshop and the boxing gym, Hadee brings the same calm precision to vehicle bodywork as he does under pressure in competition. His routine is built on discipline, consistency, and focus — qualities that continue to translate into success.
Colleagues describe him as a quiet and dedicated worker with strong habits and respect for the process. That commitment has now taken him further than ever before, proving that steady effort produces real results.

Focus Before the Fight
Focus before the storm — months of preparation led Hadee to one of the toughest challenges of his career.
For his latest bout, Hadee travelled to Sheffield to fight at the renowned Ingles Gym, stepping into his opponent’s home ground in what many would consider a true test of character. This time he pushed himself even further by dropping a weight class to compete at 48–50kg, demanding intense physical and mental discipline.
Preparation required a strict routine. He trained five to six days each week, ran three times weekly, and followed a controlled diet to make weight. The process demanded sacrifice, high-intensity conditioning, and unwavering focus.
His greatest motivation throughout the camp remained his coach Ali of Aztec Boxing Club, whose guidance continues to shape Hadee’s development and mindset. Representing Bradford and the wider community has always been central to his drive, and he entered the fight determined to make his supporters proud.
From Bradford to Sheffield — A Champion’s Test
Stepping into the opponent’s backyard — composure under pressure at Sheffield’s Ingles Gym.
Hadee faced Javad Sameer in front of a demanding crowd at the prestigious Sheffield Ingles Gym, a respected stage in British boxing. The event carried added significance, with the fight sponsored by Giants Movie Production, the creators of the film documenting legendary boxer Prince Naseem.
Despite competing away from home, Hadee showed maturity beyond his experience. He controlled the pace of the contest, remained composed under pressure, and demonstrated sharp movement and clean fundamentals throughout the bout. His performance secured victory and marked an extraordinary milestone.
Within just six fights, Hadee has now achieved two Yorkshire titles — a remarkable accomplishment that reflects both his natural ability and relentless work ethic.
“The preparation was intense,” Hadee said after the fight. “I stayed disciplined and trusted my training. Every fight is about improving mentally and physically. My goal is to become a world champion one day.”
The Workshop Connection
Same focus, different arena — precision in the workshop mirrors discipline in the ring.
Away from competition, Hadee continues his apprenticeship at the EnKahnz Bodyshop, learning vehicle repair and customisation to the highest standards. The workshop demands the same level of precision required in the ring; attention to detail, patience, and continuous improvement.
Working alongside experienced professionals, he applies the same mindset to his craft that he brings to boxing. Each task becomes an opportunity to refine his skills, reinforcing the discipline that drives his success in both environments.
Friends and colleagues consistently recognise his dedication, describing him as focused, consistent, and committed to improvement week after week.
Mentorship and Guidance
Behind Hadee’s progress is the guidance of EnKahnz founder Naveed Barugzai Khan, who plays an active role in supporting his journey both inside and outside the workshop. Recognising Hadee’s discipline and consistency early on, he brought him into the EnKahnz apprentice programme and continues to mentor him closely.
Naveed provides structure, encouragement, and opportunity, helping Hadee balance professional development with competitive boxing. His mentorship reflects EnKahnz’s belief in nurturing talent, building character, and supporting the next generation.
“When I saw Hadee’s hunger and consistency, I recognised something special,” says Naveed Barugzai Khan. “Discipline is everything — in boxing and in business. He represents the future of Bradford.”
Through this guidance, the same principles that shape success in the workshop continue to drive Hadee’s growth in the ring.
Next Round: Nationals and Beyond
Eyes now turn to the national stage.
Hadee’s next challenge will be the national championships in September, where he will face stronger competition and greater expectations. With two Yorkshire titles already secured early in his career, his ambition continues to grow.
His aspiration is clear — steady improvement, continued discipline, and ultimately becoming a world champion. With the support of his coach, mentor, and community, the path forward is defined by hard work and persistence.
A Team Behind the Champion
Surrounded by support — Hadee celebrates success with Coach Ali, teammates, colleagues, and the Bradford community.
Bradford has always produced resilience, determination, and ambition. With strong backing from Aztec Boxing Club, his community, friends, and the EnKahnz team, Hadee represents what happens when opportunity meets dedication.
From the workshop floor to the national stage, his journey is only just beginning. Both the ring and the garage are ready for the next round.
